Agafay Sunset Tour: Jeep of road with camel ride and tea in a nomad’s tent

If you have just 1 day in Marrakesh don’t lose the opportunity to live a desert ambient for few hours. Our afternoon trip drives us to the south west of Marrakesh , the route is shaded by lush vegetation, olive and orange orchards past the occasional village Off Lala Takrkoust and the lake then to a different experience driving in the off road, the scenery is completely different – a stone desert, barren light brown plateaux. Agafay becomes much known last 2 years, but the road we take is not very known even by the locals in Marrakesh, which means less tourists and more nature. People here called it Agafay desert and for good reason:  this might as well be the Sahara as the colours and the feeling of solitude is the same. The land seems to stretch out forever as the impression of being completely disconnected from civilization takes shape, but is not a real desert with sand dunes, on this special trip included a nice camel ride and a break of tea in a wild place (nomad method made) watching the sunset, after the sunset we drive back to Marrakesh. But if you are looking for a real desert experience with the sand dunes, it could be possible at least in 3 days 2 nights to Merzouga,not Agafay. Note : the maximum travelers  in one vehicle is 4 people .so more than 4 people will be 2 vehicles.
