Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Errachidia → Erfoud → Merzouga

The last 600 meters of the gorge are especially picturesque, the track is flat and stony, in some places it is no more than 10 meters wide and bordered by vertical, smooth rock faces.

We then head to the Rose Valley and on the way we pass through the village of Kella Mgouna which is characterized by rose farming. At this time of the year specifically in April and May, roses are in full bloom and their fragrance fills the whole valley.
